The power and ability to FORM is what makes us alive.

As humans we are constantly forming.

Cells, tissues, organs, proteins, hormones, anti-bodies, DNA, RNA, neural connections.

As humans we are constantly forming.

Thoughts, opinions, perspectives, beliefs, ideas, habits, memories, identities, goals, relationships, communities.

Grief, darkness, depression, anxiety, stress disrupts our ability to form.

Reaching out can become difficult; relationships impacted; habits disturbed; cognitive functioning, concentration and problem solving impaired; judgements become clouded; new idea and creative expression inhibited; memory formation and retrieval affected; feelings of hopelessness and negativity can override the ability to craft and pursue goals and aspirations; opinions, beliefs and attitudes shift; purpose and identity are questioned.

We can forget that we are a tiny, tiny part of a much larger system which is constantly forming.

Nature and planet Earth – from tectonic plates shifting; volcanoes erupting; erosion shaping coastlines; rivers and streams flowing; mountains and valleys changing; coral reefs, forests, rainforests flourishing and decaying; species adapting; the atmosphere, weather patterns and seasons affecting our oceans, land and living species; plants and animals growing, dying, decomposing, and growing again.

Circuit Breaker

I developed the Circuit Breaker concept during a period of intense grief; a time when everything ached and my ability to form was compromised. I needed to do something other than hurt all the time. I needed to take one small step towards feeling OK. I needed to break the circuit. I needed to form; to reform; to transform

My hope is that I can channel my experience, knowledge and creativity to help others to break the circuit… To feel alive again.

Because… the power and ability to continue to form; to reform; to transform… it’s what makes us alive!
